This week our spotlight falls on Kaapzicht, a wine farm with an impressive history that stretches back to 1946. A succession of brothers and sons from the Steytler family have dedicated their lives to building and improving upon the legacy of their predecessors.
The viticultural environment at Kaapzicht is key to producing their distinctive, lush wines. Nestled in Stellenbosch's Bottelary hills, the vineyard benefits from ancient granite soils, contributing to the depth and complexity of the wine.
Its prime northwest-facing slopes catch ample sunlight, fostering robust fruit notes. Yet, the cooling ocean breezes from Table and False Bay, coupled with low cloud cover, instills finesse, crisp acidity, and intricate flavour profiles into every bottle.
See below the Kaapzicht selection on special, alongside exciting new arrivals from De Meye, and some old favourites from Hermanuspietersfontein that are once again available!
